WHAT IS NERF BATTLE?
Spec Ops Nerf Battle gives kids aged 6+ a structured, confidence-building introduction to tactical gaming inside Brisbane region's premier indoor arena. Sessions use foam dart blasters, age-appropriate missions, and simple tactical principles that teach teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

Parents can join the action or watch from our viewing area. Either way, kids get supervised gameplay that challenges them without overwhelming them.

Our mission formats are created by Francis, an Australian ex-Special Forces Commando, then adapted specifically for younger players. The result is a safe, polished, all-weather activity that sits miles above backyard foam battles.

Located in North Ipswich, our fully indoor facility keeps sessions running rain, hail, or shine.

As parents of three kids, we wanted a way for younger children to enjoy the arena instead of watching from the sidelines.  Nerf Battle gives them their own tactical experience that feels structured, safe, and genuinely engaging.

We built it using the same approach we take with all our activities: safe, fun, and exciting gameplay that teaches teamwork and communication through simple, age-appropriate missions. Francis adapts real tactical principles into challenges that build confidence without overwhelming younger players.

It’s a relaxed, family-friendly way to experience the arena together. Whether your child is taking their first step into tactical play or you’re looking for an activity everyone can join, Nerf Battle was created with families in mind. Parents can jump in alongside their kids or watch comfortably from our viewing area.

SESSION DETAILS

A Nerf Battle session runs for about 3 to 3.5 hours, with multiple rounds of fast, fun missions designed specifically for younger players. Check-in, equipment setup, and safety briefings are included in this total time.

Age Requirements: 6+ (All players under 18 require a parent or guardian to complete waiver)

What to Wear:  Comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes. All protective gear is provided.

Mission Scenarios: Structured, age-appropriate missions focused on teamwork, communication, and simple tactical objectives.

Equipment Included: Large range of foam-dart blasters, face mask protection, and unlimited foam darts.

Parents & Families:  Parents can join in or watch from the viewing area. Solo kids are included and supported in balanced teams.

GROUP SIZES

Whether your child is coming alone or bringing friends, Nerf Battle runs smoothly with any group size.

Solo Players:
Kids are welcome to join on their own. We place all players into balanced teams so no one feels left out.

Small Groups:
We’ll keep friends stay together where possible while still keeping teams fair.

Larger Groups:
Family groups and birthday crews can join any public session.  We balance teams to keep gameplay fun for everyone.

Age Mixing:
All players aged 6+ play together. We spread younger and older kids evenly across teams.

Parents Playing:
Parents who join are placed where they support the group rather than overwhelm it.

Yes. Missions are simple and easy to follow, and our staff support players throughout the session.

Minimum age is 6 years. All players under 18 require a parent or guardian waiver.

At least one responsible adult must remain on-site for the duration of the session. Other parents are welcome to stay or drop off depending on the group.

Yes. Parents can join in or watch from the spectator area. Adults who participate will be placed where they support balanced gameplay.

Yes. Kids who wear prescription glasses can keep them on during gameplay. Staff ensure eyewear stays on at all times

Players must be able to move safely around the arena, follow simple safety instructions, and keep protective eyewear on.

Yes. A parent or legal guardian must complete a waiver for any player under 18.

Yes. We have at least one staff member trained in basic first aid at every session.

Adults under the influence will not be permitted on the field. This includes participating parents and supervising adults.

No. To keep gameplay safe and consistent, personal blasters are not permitted.

Walk-ins are only accepted if the session isn’t full.

Rescheduling request must be submitted at least 72 hours before your session and are subject to availability.

You may join the session late, but the session still ends at the scheduled time.

Our arena is fully indoors, so sessions always run regardless of rain or storms.

If severe weather makes travel unsafe, contact us and we’ll do our best to reschedule subject to availability.
